Day 1 - Arrive Santa Cruz
Transfer Airport – Hotel
Arrival by night to this nice tropical city located at 437 m / 1.433 ft. Santa Cruz is the entrance gate to the Amazon. Transfer from the airport to the hotel.
City Tour (Half day)
Excursion through Santa Cruz, a city with geographic, historical and cultural factors that distinguish it from the Andean region. A three-hour tour through the most attractive and affluent sites of our city visiting museums, main monuments, residential neighborhoods, and La Recoba handcraft market.

Day 2 - Depart Santa Cruz

Transfer from Alcantari airport through a nice descending route until the pretty city of Sucre (40 min), Capital of Bolivia, which keeps the charming colonial style.

City Tour (Half day)
Sucre is the capital of Bolivia; this charming colonial city lies at the head of the valley at 2700 meters high. It’s a very interesting tour which includes the visit of Casa de la Libertad, where the Act of Independence of Bolivia was signed in 1825; Bolivar Park, to see examples of the aristocratic tradition in Sucre with small replicas of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc of Triumph of Paris; the church and museum of La Recoleta, and the museum of Indian Textiles ASUR.

Private transportation Sucre -Potosi
Early departure from Sucre by private transport, in a 3 hours trip by an amazing road starting in the valleys at 2,759 masl / 9.020 ft. reach Pilcomayo river and see Puente Arce (a pending bridge used in past), go up to the to the highlands at 4,060 masl /13.320 ft, and reach the famous colonial mining city of Potosi.
City tour Potosi (Half day)
Visiting Potosí is a journey back in time through traditional colonial streets and the artisan market; the famous Mint House and the front of San Lorenzo church that has one of the greatest examples of stone carvings of the baroque-mestizo style.
Private Transfer Hacienda Cayara
Trip from Potosí to Hacienda Cayara; Built at the beginning of XVII century, its structure, furniture and decoration remain until today as they were at the time of its splendor. After installing in one of its comfortable and old bedrooms, have a walk through the hacienda and its library. Dinner will be served in the centennial dining room of this place, to finally enjoy a pleasant evening around the stove in the main hall.

Day 5 - Potosi – Uyuni

early departure, an amazing trip starting in Hacienda Cayara passing through great branches of the Andes range, with lots of colors, erosion and cactus, near the villages of Chaquilla and Tika Tika, and the famous Pulacayo tin mine. It ends in the village of Uyuni (3 to 4 hours)
Salt Flats Uyuni
Our day begins with the visit of the famous Train Cemetery, located only 8min away from Uyuni town. This place is known for the remains of steam locomotives that have persisted since the 19th and 20th centuries.
Later, in Colchani we will observe the salt extraction methods used by the local people in their artisanal fabrics.
We will then enter the incredible Uyuni salt flats, with more than 12,000 km2 of pure salt. Visit the “Stairs to heaven” which is one of the works of the renowned Bolivian artist Gaston Ugalde. It is a staircase made of salt that is located in the middle of the Uyuni salt flat. It is an interesting stop to have nice pictures. Then, we will see the “Eyes of the Salt”. These are the outlets for subterranean rivers flowing under the Uyuni Salt Flat. The waters flowing from inside the salt flat have particular acidic concentrations and are considered medicinal waters by the locals.
Transfer to the hotel and on the way we will stop to see the sunset !!

Day 6 - Salt Flats Uyuni (Full day)

10:00 AM. Continue our journey to Incahuasi Island, which is a unique oasis and isolated ecosystem that is populated by giant cactuses up to 10 meters high, amazing! we continue the trip direction north until we arrive at the feet of the majestic Tunupa volcano. We will visit Coquesa and their famous “mummies”, which are from pre-Columbian time. Also, on the same salt flats we will have the chance to take the funny “perspective” pictures. Our driver and guide will help us. They are already experts in this subject.
Included: A luxury picnic lunch in the middle of the great Uyuni salt flats is a unique experience because of watching the scenery in the salt flats while the lunch is served.

La Paz – Copacabana – Sun Island
An enjoyable nice trip by private transportation going north through the highlands, then along Titicaca Lake and parallel to the Andes Royal Range until Copacabana (3 ½ hours), a pleasant town in the shores of Lake. Visit to its church and the famous “Virgen Morena”. Trip by boat crossing the Lake to the Island of the Sun (1 hour) until Huacani to have an Aptapi (typical lunch in the highlands), this trip continues by boat up till to the ruins of Pilkokaina Inca temple. Finally hike to La Estancia with a wonderful view of Lake Titicaca (1 hour approximately).

Day 8 - Moon Island – Copacabana – La Paz
DON’T MISS AN EARLY SUNRISE! Hike down through Yumani visiting the Inca stairs and the Water of the Eternal Youth, then have a trip to the Island of the Moon (30 minutes) and the Inca ruins of Iñak Uyu temple to finally reach Copacabana (1 hour and a half). Private transportation to La Paz (3 hours and a half).

Day 9 - City Tour and Valley of the Moon (Half Day)
City tour through La Paz, elected as one of the 7 wonder cities in the world. It is located in a valley at the foothills of the Andes Range, situated at 3,632m / 11942 ft. above sea level. The tour goes through the street markets rich in handicrafts, weavings and witchcraft items, followed by a visit to the colonial section of the city, San Francisco Church, Gold Museum, Murillo Square also visit to the viewpoint “Mirador de Killi Killi”; and the outdoor replica of Tiwanaku temple. Then descending to the more modern, southern part of La Paz to reach and visit the Valley of the Moon, where a clay mountain has been impressively shaped by erosion. Ride by cable car “Teleférico”, it’s a good choice to discover an excellent and beautiful view of La Paz. This is a must for every one!
