11 Days: Buenos Aires, Puerto Madryn, Ushuaia & El Calafate
Tour overview:

Puerto Madryn is sheltered by Peninsula Valdes and Punta Ninfas on the Patagonian coast. This gateway to the attractions in Patagonia is bordered by beaches. On the Peninsula, see sea lions and penguins. The tour then travels to Ushuaia in Chile and Tierra del Fuego National Park. Travel to El Calafate in Argentina to view the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier.


Day 1 - Buenos Aires.

Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we make a panoramic tour of the city, starting in Plaza de Mayo. Then we continue towards the neighborhood of La Boca and finish in Palermo and Recoleta, famous for its cemetery. In the evening, we attend a dinner show where we take a tango lesson, learn the basic steps of this rhythm, and then enjoy the magnetism of tango. (D)


Day 2 - Buenos Aires..

Day at leisure to enjoy an optional tour. According to your preferences, we suggest having a look at the options we have for you. (B)


Day 3 - Buenos Aires / Puerto Madryn

Transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to Trelew. Arrival and departure to Puerto Madryn.Once there, afternoon at leisure to explore this maritime city.(B)

(Please note: From April to mid-September, Peninsula Valdes with San Lorenzo is replaced by Southern Peninsula Valdes visiting Puerto Pirámides, Punta Cantor and Caleta Valdes)


Day 4 - Puerto Madryn

Full day visit to Valdés Peninsula, declared a Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO because of its geography, flora and fauna, characteristics that make it a nature’s paradise. During the tour, we visit Puerto Pirámides, from where we can do Southern Right Whale-watching from July to November (optionally). We continue to Estancia San Lorenzo in order to visit a Magellanic penguin colony and finally we arrive at Punta Norte, from where we can see sea lions. Returning to Puerto Madryn, we make a stop at the Interpretation Center. (B)


Day 5 - Puerto Madryn / Ushuaia

Morning at leisure. At due time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Ushuaia. Arrival, reception and transfer to the selected hotel. (B)


Day 6 - Ushuaia

Departure from the city to Tierra del Fuego National Park to visit Ensenada Bay, Lapataia Bay, where National Route 3 ends, in addition to Lake Acigami (former Lake Roca), which isfeatured by its changed-by-weather water's colour.

In the afternoon, we sail the Beagle Channel to admire the Sea lions Island, Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and Ushuaia´s Bay from the water. (B)


Day 7 - Ushuaia / El Calafate

At due time, transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to El Calafate. Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel. (B)


Day 8 - El Calafate

Departure from the hotel towards Perito Moreno Glacier, located in Los Glaciares National Park.Perito Moreno Glacier is an impressive river of ice with an area of 257 square kilometres, and a height in its front walls between 50 to 60 meters (165 to 200 ft.) above the level of the lake. During the tour, a walk along the paths located in front of the glacier, allow us to admire this impressive natural wonder from different viewpoints. Thanks to its breathtaking beauty, it was declared a Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO. This tour is enhanced by a 1-hour boat trip, which allows us to enjoy a different view of the front wall of the glacier from the water level. Free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, return to the hotel.(B)


Day 9 - El Calafate

Day at leisure to take optional tours. Ideal to visit El Chaltén, Torres del Paine or make a boat trip through the Argentino Lake. (B)


Day 10 - El Calafate / Buenos Aires

Time at leisure to explore the town of El Calafate, until the transfer picks us up to take us to the airport. Meet and greet at Buenos Aires’ airport and transfer to the hotel. (B)


Day 11 - Buenos Aires

At due time, transfer to the airport. (B)
