Tour overview:
The Sentieri Program is a 10-day immersive journey that combines cultural exploration, historical landmarks, and natural beauty in Jordan. This program emphasizes exploring different "paths" of the country, from ancient cities to deserts, and offers a diverse experience of Jordan's landscapes, heritage, and modern culture.
Day 1 - Arrive Amman
Arrival at Queen Alia International airport in Amman. Discovery Circle team will welcome you for visa procedures and arrival formalities. Transfer to the hotel in Amman for check in. Overnight at the hotel in Amman.
Day 2 - Azraq (Shaumari Wildlife Reserve) / The eastern area of Jordan
Transfer to visit the Shaumari Wildlife Reserve. It was established in 1975 by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature as a breeding center for endangered or locally extinct wildlife. After the tour in Shaumari , transfer to visit Azraq wetland. There is an oasis for migratory birds.
After the tours, transfer to visit desert castles.
Begin tour in Desert Castles in the eastern desert of the Kingdom, which offer the fresco art and zodiac dome of Qasr Amra baths; fortress like enigmatic Qasr Karana; and the black basalt Roman/Medieval Islamic fort at Azraq. After the tour, transfer back to the hotel in Amman for overnight. (BD)
Day 3 - Jerash / Ajloun Sightseeing
Transfer to the north and visit Jerash ruins, explore the hidden beauty of this Greco Roman site, saunter along the ancient Roman streets running throughout the city and take in the marvel of this once flourishing city of the Roman Empire.
After the tour in Jerash transfer to Ajloun.
Ajloun Hike “Al Ayoun Trail” Part of the Jordan Trail
Arrival in Ajloun , meet the local guide and begin 2 3 hours easy to moderate hike through one of the quietest and most beautiful parts of the Jordanian highlands, Al Ayoun a valley of olive groves, orchards, and limestone cliffs just north of Ajloun.
After the hike, transfer back to Amman for overnight.
Day 4 - Mt. Nebo / Madaba / Dana
Depart Amman to Dana. En-route stop to visit Mount Nebo and begin the visit. The memorial of Moses, the recognized site of the prophet's death and burial place. A small, square church was built on the spot by early Byzantine Christians – and later expanded into a vast complex. From here visit nearby Madaba, City of Mosaics and stop at the Greek Orthodox Church which houses the famous 6th century map of the Holy Land. After the visits, transfer to Dana for a short hike (self guided) in Dana. Starting from the Dana Guesthouse, this trail winds above the Dana Village and through the terraced gardens and local craft workshops. Visitors can meet the residents, see original Ottoman architecture, and learn more about Dana's rich history Dinner & Overnight at Dana Guest house.

Leave Dana, meet the local guide at the guesthouse, pickup the lunch boxes and start the hiking from Wadi Dana to Feynan. The Wadi Dana Trail to Feynan EcoLodge is the main reason people visit Dana. The trail starts at Dana Village and winds through the canyon until reaching Feynan eco lodge. The distance for this trail is 14 kilometers and need from 5-6 hours. The first 2 hours walk is moderate to difficult hike and rest walk is easy to moderate. Reach the lodge, the evening is free or guests can join the lodge guide for an evening experiences such as lighting the candles, stargazing.. Dinner & Overnight at Feynan Eco-lodge. (BD)
Day 5 - Wadi Dana to Feynan
After breakfast in Dana, meet the local guide at the guesthouse, pickup the lunch boxes and start the hiking from Wadi Dana to Feynan. Day 6 - Petra (The Rose City)
The guests will be transferred out to Feynan reception by Bedouin pickups for about 30 minutes drive. Depart Feynan to Petra. Arrival Petra and begin the visit for a half day. Winding through the desert, the gates of the past open up to one of the world’s most famous wonders: the ancient city of Petra. Experience the magic of this ancient city, as you are guided through the architectural and spiritual wonders of the Rose City. Overnight at the hotel in Petra. (B)
Day 7 - Petra / Wadi Rum
Visit Petra from the ‘The Back Door’! Good tracks go pleasantly down Wadi Ghurab amidst sandstone mountains guarding the approaches to Petra. This way follows a Nabataean route out of the valley and skirting round the final mountain on a natural rock terrace which has been ‘improved’ by the PAP for the safety of walkers. Even so, it still narrows slightly before reaching a hidden plateau high above the impressive chasm of Wadi Siyyagh. Just beyond, carved into the cliff face, ‘The Monastery’ suddenly comes into view. (Bedouin café). Nabataean steps then lead down into ancient Petra, through which the route goes before exiting past ‘The Treasury’ and though the famous ‘Petra Siq’ to the shops, cafés and hotels of Wadi Musa. After the tur in Petra. The guests will be transferred to Wadi Rum. Historically significant for its role in the great Arab Revolt headed by Grand Sharif Hussein, its mystery and charm are sure to captivate you, as it has done with so many visitors before, including the legendary Lawrence of Arabia. Day 8 - Wadi Rum
After breakfast, a Bedouins will take you for a full day tour (5-6 hours) inside the desert by their Bedouin pickups. Experience an exhilarating full-day hike and scramble to the iconic Jabal Burdah rock bridge in Wadi Rum. Led by a knowledgeable English-speaking Bedouin guide, immerse the breathtaking views and a delicious lunch along the way. Then hike the canyons in Wadi Noughra and enjoy in golden hour for the perfect end of the day. While you are on tour, the Bedouin guide will find place to prepare the lunch. overnight at the camp inside the desert. (BD)
Day 9 - Dead Sea
Depart Wadi Rum to the Dead Sea. Arrival at Dead Sea, Release your tensions, calm your spirit and enjoy the serenity of floating in the Dead Sea- known for its beneficial mineral content. (B)
Day 10 - Depart Dead Sea / Amman
You Will meet your driver and would be transferred to the Amman Airport for your flight back home. (B)
