A 7-day Jordan Experience offers a balanced combination of historical exploration, cultural immersion, and adventure. Explore the hidden beauty of this Greco Roman site, saunter along the ancient Roman streets running throughout the city and take in the marvel of this once flourishing city of the Roman Empire. Winding through the desert, the gates of the past open up to one of the world’s most famous wonders: the ancient city of Petra. Day 1 - Arrive Amman
Welcome to a world of dreams… Arrival at Queen Alia International airport in Amman. Discovery Circle team will welcome you for visa procedures and arrival formalities. Transfer to the hotel in Amman for check in. Overnight at the hotel in Amman.
Day 2 - JERASH (A Decapolis City) /AJLOUN (Ajloun Hike “Al Ayoun Trail” Part of the Jordan Trail)
Transfer to the north and visit Jerash ruins, explore the hidden beauty of this Greco Roman site, saunter along the ancient Roman streets running throughout the city and take in the marvel of this once flourishing city of the Roman Empire.
After the tour in Jerash transfer to Ajloun.Arrival in Ajloun , meet the local guide and begin 2 3 hours easy to moderate hike through one of the quietest and most beautiful parts of the Jordanian highlands, Al Ayoun a valley of olive groves, orchards, and limestone cliffs just north of Ajloun. After the hike, transfer to Um Qais for dinner and overnight. (BD)
Day 3 - UM QAIS
Olives are known as sacred trees in the region and their fruits have been cherished since ancient civilizations, taking part in medicine, cuisines, and economy. Olive picking is special to local families as it is seen as a communal activity that all family members participate in. You will go to the fields with a local guide and take part in the olive picking.
Honey harvesting happens three times a year in Umm Qais, each time different tastes of honey are produced depending on the availability of flowers of that particular season. You will accompany Yousef, the beekeeper, on a beekeeping experience, followed by a visit to Yousef’s workshop to extract honey from the honeycombs. This experience involves a full demonstration on the entire honey production process. Transfer to Madaba.
Arrival in Madaba, check in at the hotel..
In the evening , guests will be transferred to have dinner at Hikayet Sitti Restaurant. It is located in the heart of Madaba, a walking distance from the city’s key attractions, Hikayet Sitti offers a true taste of Madaba through home cooked dishes. Overnight at Madaba Hotel. (BD)
Day 4 - MADABA / MT. NEBO
Breakfast at the hotel, Start visiting the Mosaics cist of Madaba and stop at the Greek Orthodox Church which houses the famous 6th century map of the Holy Land. After Madaba, transfers to visit nearby city Mount Nebo. The memorial of Moses, the recognized site of the prophet's death and burial place. A small, square church was built on the spot by early Byzantine Christians and later expanded into a vast complex. After the visits, transfer to have lunch at Carob Farm. Carob House Cooking Experience Sharing our love of cooking great homemade food and celebrating the goodness is all we do at Carob’s kitchen. We’re now dedicating sometime during weekdays for those who would like to connect with food at a deeper level, learn how to cook some of our delicious dishes, and enjoy a good drink and a tasty bite in a cozy setting. By the time the food is done, we sit together to celebrate the meal and enjoy the rest of the experience at Carob House After lunch, head to Petra . Overnight at Petra Hotel. (BL)
Day 5 - PETRA (The Rose City)
Start Petra visit. Winding through the desert, the gates of the past open up to one of the world’s most famous wonders: the ancient city of Petra. Experience the magic of this ancient city, as you are guided through the architectural and spiritual wonders of the Rose City. After the visit, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Petra.(B)
Day 6 - PETRA (Little Petra Baidah)
Transfer to visit Little Petra in a short drive. Little Petra was thought to have served as an agricultural center, trading suburb and resupply post for camel caravans visiting Petra. The surrounding area is picturesque and fun to explore, especially as it is home to some of the oldest settlements in the world, including Al Baidha. After the visit, depart Little Petra to Dead Sea. The afternoon is free for floating at the salty waters. Overnight at the hotel. (B)
Day 7 - Depart Dead Sea/ Amman
You Will meet your driver and would be transferred to the Amman Airport for your flight back home. (B)
