A bit larger than New Jersey the state of Israel is a technological and economic powerhouse. It is part of the Middle East. Its climate and landscapes are Mediterranean. This week-long tour touches many of the cultural and historic highlights this vibrant, multi-cultural country has to offer.


Day 1 - Arrive Tel Aviv

Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, Israel, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.


Day 2 - Tel Aviv – City Sightseeing

Embark on a guided tour around the main streets of Tel Aviv. Visit the Diaspora Museum. Stop at the 8000 year old port city, Old Jaffa. Next, visit the first neighborhood of Tel Aviv, Neve Tzedek, and stroll down the artistic pedestrian street, Nahalat Benyamin. Enjoy Sheinkin, the lively and colorful street known for its unique shops, café life and youthful ambiance. (B)


Day 3 - Tel Aviv – Galilee

Depart Tel Aviv via the coastal road and landscape of lower Galilee to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the church of Annunciation and the church of St. Joseph. Continue to Tiberias, a lovely resort town, and then visit Capernaum, to view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught. Continue to the site of the miracle of fish and loaves, Tabgha, then visit the famous baptismal site, Yardenit. (B)


Day 4 - Tel Aviv / Jerusalem & Bethlehem Sightseeing

This morning depart for Jerusalem. Drive to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Stop at Mount Zion to visit King David’s tomb and the room of last supper. Walk through the Armenian and Jewish quarters to Cardo, the Roman road. See the Jewish Wailing Wall, the Kotel, and proceed to the Christian quarter. Continue to Bethlehem for an overview of Shepherds’ field before visiting the church of Nativity and mangers square. (B)


Day 5 - Jerusalem – Masada & Dead Sea

Today visit the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth. Drive along the shores to Masada. Ascend by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod. Descend by cable car and continue to the Dead Sea where you can enjoy the unique opportunity to swim and float in the Dead Sea. (B)


Day 6 - Jerusalem

Enjoy a day at leisure in Jerusalem. (B)


Day 7 - Jerusalem / Depart Tel Aviv

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
