Day 1 - Arrive Stockholm
Arrival in Stockholm and start of your adventure. Transfer to your hotel. In the late afternoon, meet in the hotel lobby with your tour escort and fellow travellers for the journey. Dinner on own. Overnight in Stockholm Scandic Wallin or similar in city centre.
Day 2 - Stockholm
After breakfast, start the day with a 4 hours guided tour of Stockholm. Known as the 'The Venice of the North', the city is built on 14 islands. During the tour, you will see all the famous sights in Stockholm including a walk in the idyllic cobblestoned Old City, you will see (outside visit) the City Hall where you can see the Nobel Prize room among others, and visit the Vasa Museum to see the world’s only preserved 17th century ship at the most visited museum in Scandinavia. Afternoon free at leisure. Overnight in Stockholm Scandic Wallin or similar in city centre.
Day 3 - Stockholm - Norrkoping - Oskarshamn
After breakfast, depart for Norrkoping by the river Motala. Stop for a walk along the 'Industrial Landscape' to admire the bridges and pathways offering spectacular views of the river and its dams and waterfalls. After seeing the stunning cactus at Carl Johan Park, departure for Oskarshamn. Here, sit on the longest wooden bench in Europe – a 72-metres bench called Langa Soffan. Dinner and overnight in Oskarshamn Home hotel post or similar.
Day 4 - Oskarshamn - Malmo - Copenhagen
After breakfast, depart for Malmo – Sweden’s 3rd largest city. Stop for a walk at the charming cobblestoned squares of the old town - Lilla Torg and Stora Torg. Cross the Oresund bridge to Copenhagen – a marvel of modern architecture. In the evening go for a walk along the pedestrian street of Stroget to the old harbour Nyhavn where there are many possibilities of enjoying a hearty dinner on own, or a cup of coffee while taking in one of the most charming areas of Copenhagen. Overnight in Copenhagen Scandic Copenhagen or similar in city centre.
Day 5 - Copenhagen
After breakfast, head out for 3 hours guided tour of Copenhagen. Visit the famous Little Mermaid and Gefion fountain, the Royal residence Amalienborg Palace, and the Nyhavn Canal with its charming outdoor restaurantsand picturesque cafes, Christiansborg Castle, home to the Danish Parliament, the Royal Opera House, and many more beautiful sights. The tour ends with a highlight – a visit to the magical Tivoli Gardens. Overnight in Copenhagen Scandic Copenhagen or similar in city centre.
Day 6 - Overnight Cruise Towards Oslo
After breakfast, see the city from a different angle - join a Classic Canal Tour around Copenhagen’s harbour and its canals. In the early afternoon, embark the overnight ferry service towards Oslo. Onboard, enjoy a rich dinner buffet before heading to one of several bars or doing your shopping at the well-stacked duty-free shop. Overnight cruise from Copenhagen to Oslo outside cabin incl. dinner buffet and 1 drink GO Nordic Cruise line.
Day 7 - Oslo
Shortly after a cosy breakfast onboard, disembark at Oslo. Meet your local guide who will take you on a 3-hour tour of the Norwegian capital, where you will see the Royal Palace, the National Theater, the Parliament, the Opera House by the waterfront, and the medieval Akershus fortress. There will be time for a pleasant stroll through Frogner Park (Vigeland Park) famous for the controversial sculptures by Gustav Vigeland. In the afternoon, take time to enjoy the charm of Oslo. Stroll along the iconic Karl Johans gate, lined with shops, cafes, and historic buildings. If there are no events scheduled, step inside the City Hall - where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded each year - and admire its impressive murals and architecture. You can also wander down to Aker Brygge, the vibrant seaside promenade, perfect for soaking in the maritime atmosphere, grabbing a coffee, or watching the sunset over the fjord. Day 8 - Oslo - Kristiansand
After breakfast, we depart from Oslo and drive along the scenic southern coast. Our first stop is at Vrangfoss Lock, the most impressive lock on the historic Telemark Canal, where your guide will introduce you to this unique piece of Norwegian heritage. We continue to Skien, the official starting point of the canal and the birthplace of Henrik Ibsen. On our way south, we stop in Lillesand, a charming seaside town known for its white wooden houses and peaceful harbor — a popular summer retreat for Norwegians. Upon arrival in Kristiansand, we enjoy a panoramic city tour. Highlights include the 17th-century Christiansholm Fortress, the striking Kunstsilo art building, the lively Fiskebrygga fish market, and a walk through Posebyen, Kristiansand’s Old Town, home to Europe’s largest collection of preserved wooden houses. Overnight in Kristiansand Thon Parken or similar.
Day 9 - Kristiansand - Stavanger
After breakfast drive to Stavanger, making a stop in route in the idyllic fishing village Flekkefjord. Upon arrival in Stavanger enjoy a 3-hour fjord sightseeing on the Lysfjord, passing by the famous Pulpit Rock. Rest for the evening and dinner – at leisure. Overnight in Stavanger a Scandic Stavanger city or similar in the city centre.
Day 10 - Stavanger - Bergen
After breakfast, embark on a 3-hour guided tour of Gamle Stavanger (Old Stavanger). During the tour, you will see the monument Sverd i Fjell (Sword in Rock), which marks the Viking battle of Hafrsfjord when Norway was united into one kingdom. When the tour is over, drive to Bergen – the “Capital of the Fjords”. Overnight in Bergen in Grand Terminus or similar in the city center.
Day 11 - Bergen
After breakfast, join a morning 2-hour city tour of Bergen. The tour included the venerable King Haakon’s Hall, the Rosenkrantz Tower, and Bryggen – a row of Hanseatic timbered houses with characteristic pointed gables facing the harbour, and the bustling Fish and Flower market, the city park, and the Grieg Hall – the concert hall of Bergen. After the tour, enjoy the return ride on the famous funicular up and down Mt. Floien. Rest of the day and dinner on own – time to take in this charming town! Day 13 - Geilo area - Oslo
After breakfast, drive to Torpo Stave church (outside visit) — one of the oldest stave churches and the only one in Hallingdal preserved on its original site. After admiring the old Norsk architecture, continue to Oslo. Enjoy some free time to soak up the capital one last time and finish any last-minute shopping." Day 14 - Oslo Departure
Time to say goodbye to your Scandinavia adventure, with memories lasting a lifetime. Transfer from your hotel to Oslo Airport Gardermoen.
