Day 1 - Arrive Bali

Arrive this afternoon on the island paradise of Bali. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.


Day 2 - Uluwatu Cliff Temple

Following your morning at leisure, enjoy a pleasant short ride along the hills of Bali’s southern peninsula to Bukit. Unlike the majority of lush tropical country side, this arid terrain-formed by millennia of coral sedimentations is quite different. The beautiful, yet, wild beaches are heaven for surfers. In the corner of this peninsula, perched on a sheer cliff, a highly venerated Uluwatu temple is situated. Enjoy a performance of The Ramayana epic-based Kecak Dance with the majestic temple and sunset as its background.The tour ends at Jimbaran Beach where you can enjoy a Seafood dinner, served on the beach. Day 3 - Jimbaran / Pemuteran

Depart by private air conditioned car to explore the unspoiled countryside and villages of the back roads. Travelling through thick tropical forest and along scenic mountains you will reach the Candi Kuning fruit and flower market. Continue to Bedugul, an attractive mountain resort. Serene Lake Beratan fills the ancient crater of Mount Batukaru. This pretty temple, Ulun Danu on the water’s edge, is dedicated to Dewi Danu the goddess of the waters. Enjoy a coffee break with beautiful sceneries in Munduk. Drive to Brahmavihara Arama, Bali’s only Buddhist monastery, with its colorful decorations.There is also a holy hot spring originated from volcanic activities. Proceed to Pemuteran and check into your hotel. (BL)


Day 4 - Pemuteran

Day at leisure to relax and pursue independent activities. (B)



Day 5 - Pemuteran / Candidasa

After breakfast, drive to East Bali with enroute stop at Sangsit Village to visit Pura Beji, a subak (irrigated rice system) temple dedicated to Dewi Sri. Visit the Maduwe Karang Temple, one of the best temples in northern Bali. In Kintamani, enjoy lunch with panoramic views of Mount Batur, the semi-active volcano, which stands majestically over the beautiful Batur Lake. Afterwards transfer to Candidasa. (BL)


Day 6 - Candidasa / Ubud

After breakfast, drive through the south coast and visit the village of Kastala where you will trek across a small river and walk through rice fields. Continue walking and discover the village of Gumung, which means on the top of the hill, then proceed to Tenganan Village, which is occupied by Bali Aga people, descendants of the original Balinese who inhabited Bali prior to the Majapahit arrival. The village is surrounded by a wall and consists basically of two rows of identical houses stretching up the gentle slope of the hill. Continue to Besakih Temple, also known as the “Mother Temple of Bali” on the slopes of the holy Mount Agung. Afterwards, you’ll continue to Bangli and visit Kehen Temple, the state temple of the Bangli kingdom. The temple is terraced up the hillside, with a great flight of steps leading to the beautifully decorated entrance. Afterwards proceed to check in at hotel in Ubud. (BL)


Day 7 - Ubud

After breakfast, embark on a morning tour to explore Ubud, the artisan village. First stop will be at rural villages and vast areas of beautifully terraced rice fields in Tegal Lalang. Then continue to Celuk. Celuk is the name of the countryside in Gianyar regency where most of the local societies are very creative at making handicrafts from silver. Multiple silverwork styles are present in this area, which you may purchase and bring home for as a souvenir. Next is a visit to Mas village where you can see locals do wood carvings. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, and then drive back to hotel. (B)


Day 8 - Bali / Home

Depart Bali, taking with you an appreciation of a new way of life and a fascinating culture. (B)
