Day 1 - Arrive Hong Kong
Arrive this evening in Hong Kong, the ‘City of Lights’. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred by private Car to the hotel.
Day 2 - Hong Kong
Begin your exploration with a comprehensive orientation tour of Hong Kong, delving into the rich tapestry of traditional culture and echoes of the colonial past. Embrace the serene vistas from Victoria Peak, ascending with the fusion of heritage and innovation aboard the newly modernized Peak Tram. Descend into the heart of Tai Hang, the cradle of the “Fire Dragon Dance”, and visit the unique Lin Fa Kung Temple. This hexagonal structure, perched upon bare rock, is one of a kind and dedicated to the compassionate Goddess of Mercy.
Experience the echoes of history with the Noon Day Gun, a colonial tradition that continues to mark the passage of time in the city. Shift gears to a leisurely pace with a cruise aboard an authentic Chinese junk boat, where the allure of expertly crafted Dim Sum awaits your palate.
After the cruise, set foot on Kowloon Pier and meander down the Avenue of Stars on our scenic Promenade. Capture memories at the photogenic hotspot of Heritage 1881, and then browse the designer brand shops lining Canton Road. Conclude your journey at the Xi Qu Centre, where the history of Chinese Opera comes to life. Top off the day with a sumptuous Chinese dinner within the walls of this architectural marvel. (B/L/D)
Day 3 - Hong Kong Sightseeing
Embark on a cultural odyssey through Hong Kong's rich heritage at the Sam Tung Uk Museum, nestled in the heart of Tsuen Wan. Here, explore a meticulously preserved 200-year-old Hakka walled village turned museum, offering a glimpse into the life of early settlers.
As you meander through the bustling streets of Tsuen Wan downtown, the spirit of the city comes alive. Your senses will be captivated by the vibrant blend of tradition and modernity.
Next, experience serenity at the Yuen Yuen Institute, a sanctuary dedicated to promoting understanding of the three major Chinese religions: Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of its beautiful temples and gardens.
Revel in an authentic Hong Kong-style lunch, complete with the city's iconic milk tea—a perfect blend of robust flavours and creamy sweetness that will energize you for the adventures ahead.
Continue your adventure in the dynamic district of Sham Shui Po, where the pulse of local life, bustling street markets, and a hub of creative vibrancy await you. As evening falls, immerse yourself in the energetic atmosphere of Temple Street in Jordan, a neighbourhood where Indian culture has woven beautifully into the local fabric. Beneath the radiant neon lights, savour an authentic Indian dinner, a delightful blend of spices and local ingredients, orchestrating a culinary symphony that will linger in your memory. (B/L/D)
Day 4 - Hong Kong City Tour
Begin your unforgettable journey by boarding a bi-cable car at Tung Chung. As you ascend towards Ngong Ping village, take in the breath-taking 360-degree panoramic views of the beautiful landscape that unfold beneath you. Once you arrive, immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of Ngong Ping Piazza, designed to replicate an old open-air market street.
At Ngong Ping, your adventure continues with a visit to the sacred Po Lin Monastery. Stand in awe as you learn about the dedication of the monks who constructed this spiritual site, seemingly with their bare hands. Then, prepare for a climb to take in the awe-inspiring sight of the Giant Bronze Buddha. As you ascend the steps, you'll be rewarded with bird's-eye views of Lantau Island that are truly majestic.
After your climb, replenish your energy with a delicious vegetarian lunch served at the monastery's dining hall. This meal not only satiates your hunger but also provides a moment of quiet reflection.
The final leg of your journey brings you back to Tung Chung. Here, indulge in some well-deserved retail therapy at the Citygate Outlet. This memorable day on Lantau Island perfectly combines elements of spirituality, history, and natural beauty, resulting in an experience that is both inspiring and rejuvenating.
