Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is the capital, and second largest city, of the United Arab Emirates. Abu Dhabi offers its visitors a look into its Arabian culture and modern city life. Major attractions include the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World, Corniche Park, the White Fort, and the Heritage Village. A Desert Safari is a must if you want to experience desert life.
Dubai
Dubai is located on the Persian Gulf coast of the United Arab Emirates. It is a sophisticated metropolis in the middle of a desert with modern shopping malls, hotels, and skyscrapers – most notably, the Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world with 163 floors! Other noteworthy sites include the Burj Al Arab, the Dubai Mall and Aquarium, the Dubai Museum, the Dubai Frame, Dubai Creek, and Jumeirah Mosque. Dubai’s old quarter can be seen in the Al Fahidi Historic District, formerly known as the Bastakiya district. Here visitors can view sand colored homes, with wind towers that provided natural air-conditioning, as well as museums, craft shops, cafes, art galleries, and cultural exhibits.
