Kigali

Kigali is the capital and largest city of Rwanda. It sprawls across numerous hills, ridges and valleys, with a vibrant restaurant and nightlife scene. Rated by many as one of the most inviting cities in Africa, the busting and colourful city of Kigali is the gateway for Rwanda’s world famous gorilla treks.


Volcanoes National Park

Situated in the far northwest of Rwanda, Volcanoes National Park is named after the chain of dormant volcanoes making up the Virunga Massif. Home of the endangered mountain gorillas and a rich mosaic of ecosystems and spanning an area of 160 square km, it has over 200 species of colourful birds and also inhabits the rare golden monkey.


Lake Kivu

Rwanda’s largest lake and Africa’s sixth largest, Lake Kivu is one of the African Great Lakes, surrounded by magnificent mountains and has deep emerald green waters , covering a surface area of 2,700 square kilometres. It is surrounded by colonial beach resorts which are the perfect place to relax after a gorilla trek.
