Antananarivo
Antananarivo is the largest city and capital of Madagascar. It is known as Tana to locals. It occupies a strategic point on a rocky ridge in the center of the island. The city has colonial buildings, steep streets, the remains of the Queens Palace, named the Rova, and markets.
Andasibe Nature Reserve and Mantadia National Park
The dense mountain rainforests of this area are best for finding the different species of lemur including the largest living lemur, the Indri.
