Chobe National Park
Chobe is in north Botswana about an hour and half drive from Victoria Falls. The park is known as the “The Land of Giants” and home to Africa’s largest elephant population. It offers rich ecosystems, diverse landscapes and an abundance of wildlife and birdlife.
Okavango Delta
The Okavango Delta is the world’s largest inland delta and it is one of the few major interior delta systems that does not flow into a sea or ocean, it’s formed by the emptying of the Okavango River into the Kalahari Desert. It is home to some of the world’s most endangered species: cheetah, white and black rhinoceros, African wild dog and lion.
Moremi Wildlife Reserve
Moremi is the oldest and first ever protected reserve in this area. Its habitats are diverse: woodlands, forests, floodplains and lagoons. It is home to almost 500 species of bird and other species such as Cape buffalo, giraffe, rhinoceros, lion, elephant, hippopotamus, zebra, cheetah, hyena, impala, Cape wild dog, leopard and more.
Khwai Community Area
The Khwai Community area offers a unique variety of safari experiences due to its ideal position on the edge of the Okavango Delta. Although this region is known as the drier part of the Okavango Delta, the Khwai river provides a year round water source the attracts wildlife.
Makgadikgadi National Park
The Makgadikgadi is a salt pan located in the center of the dry savanna of north-eastern Botswana. It is one of the largest salt flats in the world. The pan is all that remains of the formerly enormous Lake Makgadikgadi. Very little wildlife can exist here during the harsh dry season of strong hot winds and only salt water, but following a rain the pan becomes an important habitat for migrating animals including wildebeest and one of Africa’s biggest zebra populations, and the large predators that prey on
