La Paz

Set against a striking backdrop of snow-capped mountains, La Paz is the administrative capital of Bolivia, while Sucre is the constitutional capital. Home to the world’s highest international airport, La Paz is situated at an elevation of over 3,100m above sea level, with the elevation in certain areas ranging up to 4,000m. A cosmopolitan city full of modern cafes, museums, restaurants and bars, La Paz is rich is culture and fascinating history.


Salyar di Uyuni

Salar de Uyuni is the world’s largest salt flat and Bolivia’s most popular attraction, flocked by tourists from the world over to experience the unique landscape. Used to by NASA to figure out the positioning of its satellites, it is one of the most fascinating locations on the planet. When there’s little water, the surface of the salt flat reflects the clouds and blue sky, making for one of the most surreal experiences one can dream of. With massive lithium deposits under its surface, Salar de Uyuni is also of great economic importance to Bolivia.


Lake Titicaca

The highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca is located on the border between northern Bolivia and southern Peru. Home to over 60 species of birds and 18 amphibians, including the famous giant frog of Titicaca, it is the largest lake in South America. Inhabited by Aymara speaking natives, the region offers spectacular views and plenty of outdoor adventures, including hiking. Often referred as the “birthplace of the Inca Empire”, the traditions and cultures of the locals have remained intact over centuries.
