7 Days : Korea, Seoul, Gyeongju, Busan, Jeju, Seoul

Tour Overview:
As Korea’s capital and most populous city, Seoul is the country’s vibrant center for business, education and culture. This comprehensive itinerary combines the bustling activities to be enjoyed in Seoul, the volcanic formed wonders of Jejudo Island and its tradition of women divers “Haenyeo,” and finally the majestic ancient former capital, Gyeongju. This scrupulously well-preserved city was home to Korean rulers for more than 1000 years.

Day 1 – Arrive in Korea

Arrive in Seoul. Upon arrival, you are met by an English speaking assistant and transferred to the hotel. Founded as the capital of the Chosun Dynasty, Seoul is Korea’s commercial, financial, and political hub.

Day 2 – Seoul Sightseeing- Seat in Coach

Enjoy a morning city tour of Gyeongbok Palace (built in 1394), National Folk Museum with its insights into traditional Korean life, the Blue House and the massive Jogyesa Temple. The afternoon is free at leisure. (B)

*On Tuesday, Gyeongbok Palace→Deoksu Palace, National Folk Museum→History Museum

Day 3 – Seoul / Gyeongju – Private tour

Early morning transfer to the train station- Car and driver only (No guide).
Board your express train to Gyeongju, the spiritual and cultural capital of Korea. Gyeongju served as the capital of the Shilla Kingdom, which united the peninsula in 676 AD. Designated by UNESCO as one of the world’s ten most historic sites, it is known as the “Museum Without Walls.”

You are met by a private guide and a car. Your afternoon tour of Gyeongju includes the Bulgulska Temple with its lovely pagodas and bridges, Seogguram Grotto (one of Asia’s most magnificent Buddhist shrines) and the National
Museum. (B)

Day 4 – Gyeongju / Busan- Private tour

In the morning, travel to Busan (1h 30m), Korea’s main port and second largest city. Your afternoon tour includes Taejongdae Park with its vast rock outcrops and sweeping sea vistas and the UN cemetery, Jagalchi fish market, the International market and Yongdusan Park. (B)

Day 5 – Busan / Jeju Full Day Tour – Seat in Coach

Transfer to Busan Airport for a flight to Jeju Island- Car and driver only (No guide). Upon arrival, your Jeju tour begins.

West Course(on Mon. Wed. Fri.)
Visit 1. Hyupjae Beach, 2. Hanlim Park, 3. O’sulloc Green tea field, 4. Mt. Sanbang Cruise, 5. Cheonjeyeon falls or Teddy Bear Museum(choose one) Following the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel. (B, L)

East Course(on Tue. Thu. Sat.)
Visit 1. Horseback riding, 2. Seongeup Folk Village, 3. Via Gwangchigi Beach, 4. Women Diver Show, 5. Seongsan Sunrise peak, 6. Via Jongdalri seashore Road, 7. Manjanggul cave Following the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel. (B, L)

Day 6 – Jeju Full Day Tour- Seat in Coach

Continue your sightseeing tour of Jeju.

West Course(on Mon. Wed. Fri.)

After breakfast, transfer to Jeju Airport for a flight to Seoul – Car and driver only (No guide).
Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and transferred to Incheon International airport for your flight back home- Car and driver only (No guide). (B)
