Not to be missed is the Grand Palace, the former residence of the Thai kings, and Wat Arun, the Temple of the Dawn.

Chiang Rai

Chiang Rai is in northern Thailand where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar (Burma) and Laos meet. Known as the Golden Triangle where you can see a traditional way of life unknown in the western world. Take a relaxing boat ride on the Mekong River. Visit the Wat Rong Khun with its unique white architecture, and Mingmuang Temple, the oldest temple in Chiang Rai. While in Chiang Mai, you can enjoy the many dining options or maybe even take a Thai cooking class.

Koh Samui

Koh Samui, an island located off the east coast of Thailand. It was once a Thai fishing village and it still retains that feel today. There are numerous beaches, each with their own vibe: Chaweng Beach may be the busiest, but it offers the best sunrises; relaxing Lamai Beach; the charming Bophut’s Fisherman’s village and the serene Maenam. Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is the largest city in northern Thailand. Visit the temples in this historic city: Wat Suan Dok where the ashes of Chiang Mai’s royal Family are interred; Wat Jet Yod with its seven spires and incredible architecture; and Wat Phra Dhat Doi Suthep, one of the most sacred temples in Thailand, containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha. Learn about the traditions and way of life for the colorful hill tribes in the area.

Phuket

Located in Southern Thailand, it is the largest island on the Andaman Sea. Phuket is surrounded by many magnificent beaches. It has a large Chinese community, there are many Chinese shrines and restaurants here. The very welcoming atmosphere and the famous Phuket nightlife makes this island a must for tourists to Thailand. Venture to Laem Phromthep viewpoint for spectacular scenery including beautiful sunsets. Take a day trip to Phi Phi Island for snorkeling and diving adventures.

Ayutthaya

Ayutthaya

The former capital city of Siam, Ayutthaya is located north of Bangkok. Nicknamed the ‘Venice of the East’, the ancient city is situated on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Discover the magnificent ruins and ancient temples at the Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. At Wat Maha Dhat, marvel at the sight of Buddha’s head entrapped by the roots of an overgrown banyan tree. Other sites include Prang Sam Yod, the sacred three spired pagoda, the Monkey Temple, museums, and the Klong Sra Bua floating market.
