Serengeti is world famous for probably the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth – the Great Wildebeest Migration – where two million migrating wildebeests plus hundreds of thousands of gazelles and zebras are followed by their predators. Comprising of 1.5 million hectares of savannah, Serengeti National Park is home to The Big Five as well as some of the most endangered animal species such as black rhinoceros, wild dog and cheetah.

Zanzibar

A Tanzanian archipelago off the coast of East Africa, Zanzibar is one of the finest beach destinations in the world. On its main island, Unguja, familiarly called Zanzibar, is Stone Town, a historic trade centre with influences from Arabia, India, Europe and Africa. Its winding lanes present minarets, carved doorways and 19th century landmarks such as the House of Wonders, a former sultan’s palace.

Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara National Park

Situated between Lake Manyara and The Great Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake and its flamingos, as well as being home to elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, impala, and waterbuck. It is also known for its massive herds of some of the largest baboons in Africa.

Often described as the Eighth Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crater, once a gigantic volcano, is now the largest intact caldera in the world. With the densest population of predators found anywhere in Africa, Ngorongoro is one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on the planet and regarded by many as one of the most fascinating experiences of their lives.
