Tour overview:

Your 10 day tour of Turkiye starts in Istanbul, the city that is both modern and historical and bridges the East and West . You then will visit the underground city in Cappadocia, the lime cascades of Pamukkale, the Greco Roman ruins in Ephesus and the site of the legendary Trojan War.

Day 1 - Arrive Istanbul

Upon arrival in Istanbul, after clearing customs and immigration formalities, enter the arrivals hall, turn left and exit through door #8 to meet your transfer representative.

Day 2 - Istanbul

Full day sightseeing tour of Istanbul including the Topkapi Palace, St. Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazzar. (B)

Day 3 - Istanbul / Ankara / Cappadocia

Morning departure for Ankara. Optional scheduled flight from Istanbul to Kayseri with transfer to Cappadocia available. Visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum, then depart for Cappadocia, enjoying the picturesque drive along the Salt Lake. (BD)

Day 4 - Cappadocia

Enjoy a full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Kaymakli Underground City, open Air Museum in Goreme and natural fortress in Uchisar. Discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts like hand-made carpets, Turkish tiles, onyx and pottery. Optional early morning Hot Air Balloon excursion available. Day 5 - Cappadocia / Konya / Pamukkale

Early departure for Pamukkale. Along the way we will visit the 13th century Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai and also the Mausoleum of Mevlana in Konya. (BD)

Day 6 - Pamukkale / Izmir

Morning visit of the ancient Hierapolis with the magnificent Necropolis and the lime cascades.Thereafter drive to Selcuk to visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, then continue to Izmir. (BD)

Day 7 - Izmir – Ephesus & Sirince

Morning visit to Ephesus to explore the Greco-Roman ruins. Afternoon continue to Sirince where you be able to experience one of the most beautiful villages in Turkiye . We’ll have time for shopping and to taste delicious wines of the village. (BLD)

Day 8 - Izmir / Troy / Canakkale

Early departure for Bergama to visit the Asklepion with its well preserved remains before continuing to Troy, site of the legendary Trojan War. Afternoon continue to Canakkale. (BD)

Day 9 - Canakkale / Gallipoli / Istanbul

After breakfast, we will cross the Dardanelles from Asia to Europe, then continue to Gallipoli to visit Anzac Cove, Nek, Conk Bair, Lone Pine and he 57th regiment memorial as well as the war museum. Afternoon arrival to Istanbul. (B)
